About Me
Hi, I’m Abi – a qualified family counsellor with a background in education, a mother of three, and someone who deeply believes in the power of being seen, heard, and understood.
I specialise in supporting women and couples as they navigate the huge emotional shift that comes with becoming parents—individually and together. My work is rooted in the belief that family dynamics shape who we are, and that meaningful change often starts with space: space to pause, reflect, and gently reimagine.
I trained in Israel as a family counsellor and bring both a systemic and person-centred approach to my work. I’ve lived abroad for over a decade, moved countries with young children, and understand the complexities of relationships that bridge cultures and backgrounds. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply in need of a place to untangle your thoughts, I’m here to walk alongside you—at your pace, with care.
My approach is flexible and collaborative. There’s no one-size-fits-all here. Just curiosity, compassion, and a focus on what works best for you.
How I Work
Who I work with
Couples
Navigating distance, disconnection, or cultural differences—especially in the transition to parenthood.
Parents
Adjusting to the new identity of being “mum” or “dad,” and everything that comes with it—loss, love, overwhelm, and transformation.
Families
Working together to reduce tension, build understanding, and support your child(ren) through challenging times.
What we focus on
Breaking unhelpful communication patterns
We'll explore the dynamics that leave you feeling stuck or misunderstood, and gently shift them toward something more respectful and connected.
Seeing each person as an individual
Even in a couple or family, you are your own person. Your voice, story, and experience matter—and I hold space for all of it.
Understanding the bigger picture
My training in systemic therapy means I help you look at how your relationships, roles, and past experiences shape what's happening now—and how we can shift it, together.
My style
I trained as a family counsellor in Israel and now offer therapy online or in-person in London. My work blends:
-
Systemic thinking – looking at how relationships and patterns interact
-
Person-centred care – flexible, gentle, and tailored to you
-
Warmth and respect – understanding each person in a safe environment
I typically work in 12-session blocks, giving us time to build trust, explore patterns in depth, and begin meaningful shifts. This structure helps create momentum, while still offering flexibility to adapt to your pace and needs.
Low-Cost Sessions Available
I'm currently offering discounted sessions as I build my private practice.
